Pascal Fullacreates theMas de l'Ecriturein the late 1990s. It is located in the heart of the appellationThe Terraces of the Larzac, near the village of Jonquières. This terroir enjoys a remarkable Mediterranean climate and allows the production of great Languedoc wines.
Pascal FullaHe considers winemaking a wonderful form of expression, a way to write his vision of things and the world. A true poet, he crafts each vintage like a self-portrait. A few years ago, his daughter,Léacame to help him by joining him at the estate.

The exceptional terroir of the Larzac
Ideal conditions for the production of excellent wines
The vineyard is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Larzac plateau on theAOC Les Terrasses du LarzacThis region benefits from exceptional sunshine and exposure to the mistral wind. These conditions are ideal for grape growth. The vines are planted in clay-limestone soil. In 2009, the entire estate ofMas de l'Ecritureis certifiedorganic farmingcertified by Ecocert. The vineyard work is carried out with care in order to achieve the best yields; quality is prioritized over quantity.
Pascal Fullathen obtained a label inBiodynamicsfor his estate. The vines are cultivated without any pesticides or herbicides, without fertilizers, and no sulfites are added to the wines. Soil health is paramount forPascal FullaPreserving the health of the vines and the environment are among its core values.

Pascal Fullaand his daughter cultivate only 10 hectares of vines inBiodynamicswith an average yield of 28 hl per hectare of vines. This small production allows for superior quality in the estate's wines. The grapes are precisely pruned, bud removal is perfect, leaf thinning is meticulous, and some green harvesting is carried out—a painstaking process to harvest the best possible quality grapes. The harvest is entirely done by hand, plot by plot and grape variety by grape variety. This meticulous work results in wines of exceptional finesse.
