Description

THE Château Haut-Bailly 2025, A Grand Cru Classé Graves, is a wine red which reflects the authenticity of the region Pessac-Léognan. This domaine emblematic, located on the gravelly soils of the left bank of Bordeaux, is renowned for its wines of great finesse and aromatic complexity. The carefully cultivated vines benefit from a climat temperate and of a unique terroir, allowing the full richness of Bordeaux grape varieties to be expressed.

The vineyard of Château Haut-Bailly extends across gravelly, ideally drained soils, which promote deep root development for the vines. climat The temperate oceanic climate of the Bordeaux region, combined with abundant sunshine, allows for optimal grape ripening. The vines, some several decades old, are cultivated with care to preserve biodiversity and soil health. This respectful approach to the terroir contributes to the exceptional quality of the wines, revealing the minerality and aromatic richness characteristic of the Pessac-Léognan appellation.

Owner and history

Currently, the Château Haut-Bailly is run by the de Lencquesaing family, who have managed to preserve the heritage and identity of the domaine while incorporating environmentally friendly practices. Their commitment to quality and authenticity is reflected in every vintage, making Haut-Bailly a benchmark in the Bordeaux region. Passionate about their land, they continue to innovate while respecting traditions, thus guaranteeing the excellence of their wines for future generations.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Haut-Bailly is a meticulous process, blending tradition and modernity. The grapes, carefully selected by hand, are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of their aromas. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 12 to 18 months, allowing the wine to refine and develop its complexity. This care taken at each stage of winemaking results in wines of great elegance, capable of aging beautifully in the bottle.
