Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Carbonnieux is crafted with meticulous care. The carefully selected grapes are gently pressed to preserve their aromas. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, adding complexity and structure to the wine. Aging, which lasts approximately 10 months, occurs partly in oak barrels, a third of which are new. This process imparts a beautiful roundness and subtle woody notes to the wine. The final blend is carefully crafted to guarantee the harmony and balance characteristic of great white Bordeaux wines.
