Owner and history

Located in Pessac, near Bordeaux, the Château Pape Clément red vineyard covers 30 hectares and consists of 30-year-old vines on gravelly and gravelly-sandy soil.

Vinification and aging

Sustainable and plot-by-plot cultivation. Leaf thinning and cluster removal. Hand-harvested in small crates with initial sorting in the vineyard. Destemming entirely done by hand. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
