The only Monopole of the Moulin-à-Vent appellation, a true gem! Clos du Moulin-à-Vent was added to the estate's holdings in 2000. Made from old Gamay vines located just below the windmill, the emblem of the cru, it offers aromas of flowers and black fruit, with notes of fresh mint and chocolate. The palate is Burgundian, structured and refined, with silky tannins.
93/100 pts FIGARO WINE " The complex nose is an invitation to contemplation. It offers notes of lacquered wood, spices, cut flowers, and pollen. A powerful, full-bodied, and juicy wine, built for aging.
" The so-called "Burgundian" winemaking process produces wines with full yet smooth tannins, which age beautifully. RVF

Domaine Labruyère , founded in 1850 in the heart of the hamlet of Les Thorins, is one of the oldest and most emblematic estates in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation . Today, its 14 hectares include Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent , the only monopole in the appellation. Led by Jean-Pierre Labruyère and his son Édouard, the estate has undergone a profound renewal, combining modernized facilities, meticulous vineyard management , and winemaking inspired by Burgundy . Guided by a reasoned approach that respects the terroir , the team, including Nadine Gublin and Michel Rovere, crafts deep, silky wines built for aging , revealing the full potential of Gamay on these exceptional terroirs. With cuvées such as Champ de Cour , Carquelin , and Le Clos , Domaine Labruyère is establishing itself as a rising star in Beaujolais.

Serve at around 16°C after a few years of aging or after being opened for a long time in its youth. This wine pairs perfectly with a fine beef fillet and pepper sauce, beef bourguignon and fresh tagliatelle, garlic potatoes, or even a roasted filet mignon.
