    Owner and history

    The Marques de Murrieta vineyard stretches across the Ygay estate, in the heart of Rioja Alta. The vines, primarily Tempranillo, but also Graciano, Mazuelo, and Garnacha, are cultivated in clay-limestone soils at an ideal altitude for producing quality wines. The region's unique microclimate, with its Atlantic influences, allows the grapes to ripen slowly, developing exceptional aromatic complexity.
