Today, theBurgundy vineyardsofTrapet EstateThe estate covers 15 hectares, including 13.5 hectares of Pinot Noir and 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay. It perpetuates ancestral know-how, crafting wines with passion that reflect the richness and complexity of their terroir. From the first buds to the harvest, this winemaker treats his grapes with gentleness and respect. The bunches are meticulously sorted and delicately crushed, then the wine is transferred to the vats by gravity, thus preserving all their quality.

Maintaining the tradition from father to son for 5 generations, and managed since 1995 byJean-Louis TrapetThe estate is a benchmark in Burgundy. Jean-Louis later married the Alsatian winemaker Andrée Grayer.Trapet Father and Son EstateThe business expanded in 2002 when Andrée decided to continue her parents' work. She inherited a 2-hectare vineyard in Riquewihr, Alsace, which she has been passionately developing and tending ever since. The couple decided to work hand in hand to care for their vines, sometimes driving for hours to irrigate them with a natural preparation at a time they deemed ideal.

These choices made by Jean-Louis Trapet result in remarkable purity of expression and aromatic richness. The aging potential of his wines exceeds 20 years for recognized vintages, such as 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2005, and 2002. These are straightforward and pure wines that require time to reach their peak.
