The wines produced byTenuta Delle Terre Nereare all different from one vintage to another. This is partly explained by the different soils surrounding the property. Altitude also plays an important role; the estate's vines are located between 600 and 1000 meters above sea level. Ten plots are situated at 600/700 meters altitude and are planted on rocky soil, with volcanic stones covering the vines. A little higher up, at 800/900 meters altitude, we find the vineyard ofGuardiola, whose vines are planted on soil composed of volcanic sand mixed with basaltic pebbles.
