    Owner and history

    The terroir of Château Calon-Ségur is unique, extending over an area of ​​94 hectares which can reach an altitude of up to 13 meters. The vines, around forty years old, are planted on a thick layer of gravel deposited by the river, with a clay soil of lacustrine origin at the top.

    Vinification and aging

    The aging process follows the Bordeaux tradition: egg white binding
    The wine is aged for 18 to 20 months in barrels (100% new wood).
