    Owner and history

    Axelle Courdurié brilliantly oversees the 5.78-hectare vineyard, which is managed organically. The soils are tilled to promote grape quality, with a planting density of 6,000 vines per hectare. The grape varieties are 90% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. The soils are diverse: the Badon terroir, composed of sand and clay with a clay-limestone subsoil that imparts finesse; the Saint Sulpice terroir, made up of gravel and clay, offering characteristic depth and density; and finally, the Saint Christophe des Bardes plateau, with its clay-limestone soil and asterias fossils, which gives the complexity and density typical of great Saint-Émilion wines.
