The Château du Seuil vineyard is planted on stony, clay-limestone soil at an altitude of between 300 and 500 meters, offering ideal natural drainage and welcome coolness in summer. Thanks to this exceptional terroir, the grapes express a beautiful aromatic intensity while retaining their natural vibrancy. Cultivated according to organic farming principles, the vines benefit from a pristine environment, guaranteeing soil vitality and the balance of each vine. This meticulous work, combined with the privileged climatic conditions of Provence, gives this cuvée all its finesse and typicity.

    Owner and history

Château du Seuil is owned by the Irish family, committed to sustainable and high-quality viticulture. Guided by a modern vision that respects Provençal identity, the owners have successfully developed the estate towards excellence, notably through its conversion to organic farming. Their passion for the terroir and their exacting standards at every stage of production make Château du Seuil a benchmark in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. Thanks to their dedication, the estate's wines, such as the Grand Seuil Rosé 2024, combine traditional expertise with contemporary finesse, appealing to wine lovers seeking quality.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process at Château du Seuil is based on rigorous plot selection. The grapes, from a 100% destemmed harvest, undergo direct pressing before fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit.
The Grand Seuil Rosé 2024 vintage is then aged on its fine lees, without oak aging, to preserve its pure aromatic expression and natural balance. This precise and respectful winemaking process results in a rosé with an elegant profile, combining lusciousness, freshness, and a beautiful persistence.
