    Owner and history

Located in the heart of the Saint-Julien appellation, the vineyard covers 50 hectares. It is primarily planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Its clay-gravel subsoil and climate play a significant role in the quality of the wines. Since 2012, the Barton family has been progressively adopting organic farming practices.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - Alcoholic fermentation lasting 7 to 10 days
    - The maceration process lasts approximately 3 weeks
    - The wine is transferred into barrels batch by batch
    - The aging process takes place between 16 and 18 months in French oak barrels, 60% of which are new wood, in a cellar maintained at 15°.
