    Owner and history

The vines of Château Musar are planted on hillsides at an altitude of 1,000 meters in the Bekaa Valley, offering exceptional climatic conditions. The soils, composed primarily of limestone and gravel, impart a remarkable minerality to the wines. Agriculture here is environmentally conscious, with organic viticulture practices allowing local grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan to fully express themselves.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Musar is a long and meticulous process. The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, the wine ferments naturally with indigenous yeasts. Aging takes place in French oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, followed by several years of bottle aging in the estate's cellars before release. This lengthy process guarantees exceptional stability and complexity in the wine.
