    Owner and history

Château Smith Haut Lafitte owes its reputation as "The Graveliest of the Graves" to its superb, contiguous terroir of Günzian gravel. Vineyard: 78 hectares

    Vinification and aging

Château Smith Haut Lafitte cultivates each terroir individually. The harvest benefits from the latest technologies, including destemming by vibration and optical sorting. The wine is then aged in barrels for 18 months (60% new).
