    Owner and history

    Jean-Pierre Moueix acquired 7.5 hectares. The vines, planted on gravelly, limestone, and iron-rich soils, face west. Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) occupy the center of the Pomerol plateau. The grapes are harvested by hand, and great care is taken during vinification to maintain the wine's Premier Grand Cru Classé status.
