The Domaine Anne Gros vineyard, dedicated to the Hautes Côtes de Nuits, is planted on sunny, well-ventilated slopes between 300 and 400 meters in altitude. The clay-limestone soils impart a fresh, mineral character to the wine. The vines, cultivated using sustainable practices, allow for a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir, with controlled yields to promote concentration and finesse. This slightly later-ripening terroir results in a wine that is approachable young, while retaining a true Burgundian character.

    Owner and history

At the helm of the family estate since 1988, Anne Gros is part of an iconic winemaking lineage in Vosne-Romanée. Trained in Burgundy and passionate about passing on the knowledge of the terroir, she has modernized winemaking methods while respecting the legacy of her ancestors. Today, supported by her children, she continues to develop the estate with exacting standards and intuition, always placing the expression of the terroir and the precision of the winemaking process at the heart of each vintage.

    Vinification and aging

At the estate, winemaking is traditional and minimally interventionist, favoring indigenous yeasts and gentle extractions to preserve the elegance of the Pinot Noir.
For the 2023 Hautes Côtes de Nuits vintage, fermentation in stainless steel tanks precedes partial aging in French oak barrels for 12 months, with a moderate proportion of new oak. This process refines the structure without masking the fruit, resulting in a balanced, silky, and immediately enjoyable wine.
