An excellent introduction to discovering the remarkable work of Anne Gros.
A high level of complexity for this level of appellation. Aromas of redcurrants, violet, black pepper. It is a very balanced wine with a delicate structure.
Terroir : Just above the village of Vosne-Romanée, this 73-are plot was planted in the late 1990s. Clay-limestone soils on which fossiliferous lavas are abundant.
Viticulture : sustainable
Livestock farming : 12 months in 500-litre barrels, 40% of which are new barrels.

The nose opens with aromas of fresh red berries, such as redcurrant and cherry, enhanced by subtle floral nuances. On the palate, the attack is lively, driven by a beautiful tension, and develops a velvety texture with discreet tannins.
