The Domaine Faiveley vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils, typical of the Côte de Beaune. This geological composition promotes optimal drainage and allows the vine roots to draw the elements necessary for their growth. The region's temperate continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters, contributes to the ripening of the grapes. The vines, several decades old, are cultivated with care, respecting the principles of sustainable viticulture to preserve biodiversity and soil health.

    Owner and history

Today, the estate is managed by Erwan Faiveley, who embodies family continuity while bringing his own modern vision. Erwan has successfully combined tradition and innovation, emphasizing respect for the environment and sustainable winemaking methods. Under his leadership, the estate has continued to produce renowned wines while exploring new techniques to enhance the Burgundy terroir. The Faiveley family's passion and commitment to their winemaking heritage are reflected in every bottle.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Faiveley is a meticulous art. After a manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the aromas. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart complexity and elegance. This aging process lasts approximately 12 to 18 months, depending on the vintage. Bottling is done without fining or filtration, allowing the wine to retain its full personality and authenticity.
