The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Les Menétrières displays a brilliant pale gold color with crystalline highlights. Its expressive nose blends white flowers, dried fruit, and flint. Owner and history

Since its acquisition by Maison Louis Jadot in 2008, Domaine JA Ferret has experienced a resurgence while preserving its strong identity. The estate is managed by a dedicated team that showcases the unique character of the Pouilly-Fuissé terroir, combining Burgundian tradition with sustainable viticultural practices. This renewal culminated in the official recognition of Premier Cru status in 2020, a testament to the estate's rigorous work and commitment to quality.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine JA Ferret is based on a plot-by-plot approach, with fermentation in oak barrels, including a measured proportion of new oak, in order to preserve the purity of the fruit.
For the 2020 Les Menétrières vintage, aging on fine lees for approximately 15 months adds texture and complexity, without ever masking the expression of the terroir. This meticulous work results in a balanced wine, built for aging and with great aromatic precision.
