The Perrier-Jouët Champagne vineyards extend across the region's finest terroirs, where the chalky, limestone soil provides optimal drainage, essential for cultivating Chardonnay. The House prioritizes carefully selected plots, thus guaranteeing the quality and typicity of its wines. The Champagne climate, with its harsh winters and mild summers, allows for a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes, contributing to the aromatic complexity of the cuvées.

    Owner and history

Currently, Maison Perrier-Jouët is part of the Pernod Ricard group, but it retains its creative independence and heritage. The current owners are committed to preserving tradition while incorporating environmentally responsible innovations. Their passion for wine and respect for the terroir are reflected in every cuvée, making Perrier-Jouët an ambassador of Champagne excellence throughout the world.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Champagne Belle Epoque 2013 is carried out with the utmost care, respecting the traditions of the House. The grapes are gently pressed to preserve their integrity, followed by a low-temperature Champagne fermentation to encourage the expression of aromas. After aging on its lees in tanks, the wine is bottled with a liqueur de tirage before undergoing its second fermentation in the bottle. Extended aging in the cellars allows the wine to develop its richness and complexity, offering an unforgettable tasting experience.

    The team's opinion

This Belle Epoque 2013 Champagne is a true work of art, to be savored with delight to celebrate life's precious moments.
