    Owner and history

    The Barbera vines are located in the superb Scarrone vineyard in Castiglione Falleto, on clay-limestone soils. This is a single-vineyard cuvée; only the grapes from this particular plot are used in the blend.

    Vinification and aging

    - Fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by maceration in oak barrels
    - Aged for 18 months in barrels, large oak casks and stainless steel tanks
    - Bottling without filtration or fining
