Lucien, also known as Bacchus (god of wine), is a prominent figure in the vineyard.JuraHis estate has become a true institution, a business run by enthusiasts who pay homage to the local terroir.ArboisSince 1991, his son Vincent has joined him at the estate. Both are committed to regional traditions while adding their own distinctive touch. Characterful wines and tastings directly in the cellars contribute to the estate's authenticity. The wines are quite rare and have a large following: an estate to watch very closely.

The 6 hectares of vines are located in the heart of the vineyardJura, aboved'Arbois, hasMontigny-lès-ArsuresThe vineyard is approximately 35 years old and consists exclusively of local grape varieties such astrousseauor thesavagninIn the vineyard, sustainable farming practices are used, and the harvest is done manually and by plot. Indeed, the vineyardJurais steep and requires special care to preserve the integrity of each of the bunches.
The grape varieties planted are typical of the Jura region:
THEtrousseauIt is a red grape variety with lovely aromas of black cherry and kirsch. Fruity and peppery notes bring richness, structure, and body to the wines. At Caveau de Bacchus, this one is generous and full-bodied.
THEsavagninis used in the production of Vin Jaune. At the estate, this dry white wine, typical of theJura, underwent breedingoxidativeaged for 8 years under a veil of indigenous yeasts. These bring nutty aromas to the wines.

Luciennow works with his sonVincentThey produce red wines from Trousseau grapes. Vinification and aging of all their wines take place in large oak casks. Only natural yeasts are used in the winemaking process. This allows the regional grape varieties to express themselves with all their specific characteristics and personality. Maceration is long to concentrate the aromas.
Yellow wines,Regional specialties are aged in oak barrels for between 7 and 10 years. The wines are bottled in waxed bottles to optimize their aging potential. Regional traditions are thus respected, and the estate embodies classic Jura winemaking expertise.
