For example, in 2008, a series of incidents at the site caused a 40% drop in sales volume for the appellation's wines. Following this,Henri Bourand his colleagues from theAOC Coteau-du-Tricastinasked the INAO (National Institute of Appellations of Origin) the authorization to change one's name. TheINAORecognizing the disadvantage posed by the power plant, the authorities decided to authorize this modification on an exceptional basis. Thus, since the 2010 vintage, winegrowers in Tricastin have been able to use the AOP designation.Grignan-les-Adhemarto market their wines.
