    Owner and history

The large Beychevelle vineyard is located in the far south of the Saint-Julien appellation. It covers an area of 250 hectares, but the vines are planted on only 90 hectares. These vines are around thirty years old and are planted in deep Garonne gravel soil. This soil is the defining characteristic of the terroir, as it helps regulate and protect the vines from climatic temperatures.
