Each plot is carefully tended, respecting the natural cycles, to reveal the full potential of the terroir. The harvest is carried out by hand to ensure rigorous selection of the finest bunches.

    Owner and history

Today, Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is managed by a passionate family who have restored the estate to its former glory. Committed to quality and environmental responsibility, the owners have modernized the facilities while preserving the winemaking heritage. Their vision is to produce exceptional wines that reflect their terroir and expertise. They strive to blend tradition and innovation, ensuring that each vintage tells a unique and authentic story.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Larrivet Haut-Brion is a meticulous process, blending tradition with modern techniques. After a manual harvest, the grapes are carefully sorted and destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 12 to 18 months. This aging process adds complexity and structure to the wine while preserving its fruitiness. The blends are carefully crafted, aiming to create perfect harmony between the grape varieties.
