The grapes for this Gevrey-Chambertin come from carefully selected plots on clay-limestone soils, ideal for Pinot Noir. Domaine Taupenot-Merme, currently undergoing organic conversion or certified organic, is committed to working with the utmost respect for the vines and the environment. Traditional winemaking, followed by precise aging in oak barrels (with a measured percentage of new oak), helps to enhance the purity of the fruit and the typicity of the terroir.
