    Owner and history

The Chambolle-Musigny vineyard is one of the most prestigious in the Côte de Nuits, Burgundy. Situated on limestone and marl soils, it offers an ideal terroir for the expression of Pinot Noir. The vines benefit from a temperate climate and optimal exposure, allowing the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. Joseph Drouhin applies biodynamic viticultural methods, respecting the environment and the soil, to produce wines that are both pure and elegant.

    Vinification and aging

The wine is made using natural fermentation in open vats, followed by aging in oak barrels (20% of which are new) for 14 to 18 months. This process adds structure and complexity while preserving the balance and delicacy of the fruit.
