The Château Siran vineyard covers 30 hectares, with vines planted in clay-limestone soil, ideal for growing Bordeaux grape varieties. The diversity of the plots allows for precise winemaking, with each grape variety finding its optimal expression. The oceanic climate, tempered by the proximity of the Garonne River, promotes slow and even ripening of the grapes, thus guaranteeing a beautiful aromatic concentration. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are cultivated with care, respecting the principles of sustainable viticulture.

    Owner and history

Château Siran is currently managed by the Miailhe family, who have been dedicated to developing this estate for generations. Their passion for wine and respect for their terroir are central to their approach. They have modernized winemaking techniques while preserving the family heritage. The Miailhe family is also committed to sustainable practices, mindful of environmental challenges. Their goal is to produce quality wines that reflect the typicity of Margaux, while remaining true to the spirit of the estate.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for S de Siran 2019 is carried out with the utmost care. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring rigorous selection. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve the freshness of the aromas. The wine is then aged in barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 12 months. This period allows the tannins to soften and the aromas to develop complexity, resulting in a harmonious and balanced wine, ready to delight wine lovers.
