Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, Château Brane-Cantenac is a leading Médoc estate , classified as a Second Growth in 1855. Representing the finesse of the great terroirs of the Left Bank, the estate benefits from a privileged location on gravelly slopes ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon. The Baron de Brane cuvée, the château's second wine, embodies the elegance and precision of the vintage while offering greater approachability. Under the management of the Lurton family, this historic estate combines respect for tradition with winemaking innovation, producing characterful wines crafted for both aging and immediate enjoyment.

Tasting notes
The 2017 Baron de Brane boasts a brilliant garnet color with ruby highlights. Its expressive nose reveals a fruity bouquet dominated by blackcurrant, black cherry, and elegant woody notes. On the palate, the attack is supple, giving way to a structured and well-balanced framework supported by fine tannins. The finish is persistent, offering a touch of blond tobacco and sweet spices, promising considerable complexity and aging potential.
