    Owner and history

Château Brane-Cantenac boasts an ideal location in the heart of the Médoc, within the Margaux appellation, one of the region's most prestigious. Its 7-hectare estate is renowned for its exceptional terroir, composed of deep gravel with a soil rich in minerals and clay. Furthermore, the vineyard's plateau-like position ensures excellent natural drainage. The vineyard owners have chosen to manage it plot by plot to adapt to the specific needs of each vine. As a result, a variety of grape varieties are planted, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), followed by Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (4.5%), and Carménère (0.5%). Thus, modern, organic viticulture, combined with exceptional terroir and expert craftsmanship, allows for the production of one of the Médoc's finest wines.
