The Château Coupe-Roses vineyard is cultivated on clay-limestone soils, typical of the Minervois region. This geological composition promotes excellent drainage and allows the vine roots to penetrate deeply, resulting in rich, aromatic grapes. The Mediterranean climate, with its hot, dry summers and mild winters, creates ideal conditions for optimal grape ripening. The estate practices sustainable viticulture, respecting biodiversity and the local ecosystem, which contributes to the exceptional quality of its wines.

Owner and history

Château Coupe-Roses is run by the Boulanger family, who have passed down their love of wine and the land through generations. Their commitment to sustainable viticulture is reflected in their environmentally friendly practices and their dedication to producing authentic wines. Their passion for their land and their expertise shines through in every vintage, making this estate a benchmark in the Minervois appellation.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Coupe-Roses is carried out with complete respect for the fruit. The harvest is done by hand, allowing for rigorous grape selection. After careful destemming, the berries are placed in vats for fermentation at controlled temperatures, promoting the expression of aromas. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, bringing complexity and roundness to the wine without masking the typicity of the grape varieties. This meticulous process contributes to creating a harmonious and balanced wine, true to the identity of the terroir.
