    Owner and history

    Its 167 hectares of vines make Château La Tour Carnet the largest vineyard among the Classified Growths. It is considered one of the oldest in the Médoc. The red wines produced in the Haut-Médoc are made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, which give this particular expression of the terroir.

    Vinification and aging

    - The grapes are sorted using optical sorting
    - The wines are aged in new barrels for 1/3 of the harvest, in barrels that have held one wine for 1/3 and in vats.
