Producer

The Le Macchiole vineyard stretches across clay-limestone soils, ideal for cultivating grape varieties. The Mediterranean climate, with its hot, dry summers, promotes optimal grape ripening. The carefully planted vines benefit from ample sun exposure, which enhances the aromatic richness of the grapes. Each plot is cultivated with passion, respecting the vine's natural rhythm, to produce wines of great authenticity.

Owner and history

Currently, Le Macchiole is run by the Camparini family, who have preserved Eugenio Campolmi's legacy while breathing new life into the estate. Their passion for winemaking and their respect for the land are evident in every bottle. They continue to explore new techniques and improve winemaking practices, while remaining true to the original philosophy of producing wines that tell the story of their terroir.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Le Macchiole is a true art. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. After gentle destemming, they ferment in stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging takes place in oak barrels, where the wine develops its complexity and character. This meticulous process reflects the estate's commitment to quality and the expression of the terroir.
