Vinification and aging

After a carefully selected, hand-harvested grape selection, the grapes are destemmed and then gently crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, allowing for the extraction of rich aromas while preserving freshness. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new, further enhancing the wine's structure and complexity. Opus One is committed to overseeing every step of the process, thus guaranteeing unparalleled quality and precision in its winemaking.
