    Owner and history

    Château Pibarnon cultivates 50 hectares of vines, including 45 hectares of red grapes. The vines, which can be established up to 300m altitude, are planted on terraces (terraces created for the purpose of cultivation), forming a natural amphitheater. There are 12 plots of land, all located on the higher ground of the estate.

    Vinification and aging

    Château Pibarnon 2015 benefits from a long maceration, as it requires a lot of patience in order to slowly extract its tannins.
    - Hand-harvested grapes in 20kg crates
    - Fermentation followed by a very long maceration in vats for approximately 3 weeks.
    - Aging in oak casks for 20 months: diversification of coopers and of the age of casks in order to adapt to each terroir.
