    Owner and history

Château Figeac is located west of Saint-Émilion, bordering Pomerol. Its 40 hectares of vines grow in sandy gravel soil. This soil is not very fertile, resulting in naturally low yields and therefore a naturally concentrated flavor in the grapes. The terroir of Figeac is simply exceptional.

    Vinification and aging

The vines, averaging 40 years old, are harvested by hand. Vinification and aging are traditional. The wines are aged for 15 to 18 months in new French oak barrels.
