The Château Figeac vineyard stretches across exceptionally rich soils, a blend of gravel, clay, and limestone. This geological diversity allows the grape varieties to flourish, yielding grapes of remarkable quality. The temperate climate of the Bordeaux region, with its hot summers and mild winters, also contributes to the production of balanced and expressive wines. The carefully cultivated vines benefit from optimal sunshine, promoting grape ripening and the expression of the terroir.

    Owner and history

Currently, Château Figeac is managed by the Manoncourt family, who have preserved the estate's heritage while adding their own personal touch. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in every bottle produced. The owners are dedicated to cultivating their vines with respect for the environment, adopting sustainable and responsible practices. Thanks to their passion and dedication, Château Figeac continues to shine on the world wine stage, attracting wine lovers in search of quality and authenticity.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Figeac is a meticulous process, respecting tradition while incorporating modern techniques. The grapes are harvested by hand to ensure only the finest are selected. After careful destemming, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature management. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, to refine the aromas and structure the wine. This attention to detail at each stage of winemaking results in complex and elegant wines, both powerful and delicate.
