Owner and history

They work with organic methods, using integrated pest management (soil cultivation, organic fertilization). The soil is composed of deep gravelly hillocks from the Garonne River. The average age of the vines is 46 years over an area of ​​82 hectares.

Vinification and aging

A plot-by-plot selection in vats was carried out after the harvest.
Fermentation in 50% cement and 50% wood. Fermentation temperatures of 24°C to 29°C, with yeast inoculation.
Maceration for 20 to 30 days at appropriate temperatures. Lees work under the cap during post-fermentation maceration.
Tasting and selection of three press wines from the different barrels.
Malolactic fermentation.
Aged for 18 to 24 months in barrels that are 80% new and the remainder in one-year-old barrels. The oak is of French origin.
