    Owner and history

    Château Gruaud Larose boasts an 82-hectare vineyard in a single block, ideal for achieving perfectly even ripening. The soils are composed of gravelly hillocks from the Garonne River, made up of humus, sand, clay, and rolled pebbles. Since the 2019 vintage, the château has been working diligently towards converting to organic farming.
