Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Gruaud Larose is carried out with great care, blending tradition and modernity. The grapes are harvested by hand and then meticulously sorted. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management and optimal extraction of aromas. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 12 to 18 months. This process allows the wine to develop its complexity and depth while preserving the elegance of the grape varieties.
