    Owner and history

    The estate covers 120 hectares, 77 of which are planted with vines. The Günzian gravel soil is composed of clay and limestone. Three grape varieties are cultivated: Merlot (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (43%), and Cabernet Franc (2%). Great care is taken to concentrate the aromas in the berries. The vines are planted very close together to encourage competition among the grapes. The average age of the vines is 35 years, and the planting density is 8,333 vines per hectare.

    Vinification and aging

    - Hand-harvested grapes with sorting on a table and destemming
    - Traditional vinification by plot in cement and stainless steel tanks
    - Aged 90% in new oak barrels for 12 months
