Owner and history

Maison Bouchard Père et Fils owns 2.33 hectares of the prestigious Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, out of the 7.59 hectares that comprise this exceptional appellation. The soil there is particularly calcareous and marly, with a subsoil rich in stones, ideal for the cultivation of great white wines.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested manually into small crates, followed by aging for 12 to 13 months in oak barrels, up to 15% of which are new barrels.
