      Owner and history

      La Viallière is a high-quality plot in Côte-Rôtie, covering one hectare of vines. The Syrah vines are 22 years old. The vintage was marked by early ripening and a severe lack of water. The vineyard is planted with Serine, an old Syrah variety. It produces low yields and small, highly aromatic, and concentrated bunches.

      Vinification and aging

      - Hand-harvested grapes with sorting in the vineyard
      - Fermentation with indigenous yeasts
      - Aged for 24 to 30 months in demi-muids and new barrels
