        Other Important Grape Varieties: Excellent Cabernet Sauvignon (structured, with notes of blackcurrant, as in Coonawarra), Chardonnay (fresh and round), and Riesling (lively and mineral, in Clare Valley and Eden Valley) are found.

        Main Regions: The majority of production is concentrated in the cooler southern regions, with South Australia being the largest producing region, including Barossa Valley, Coonawarra and Clare Valley.
