Owner and history

The Château Canon vineyard covers 34 hectares in a single block (24 at Château Canon and 10 for the second wine, at Croix Canon). The vineyard faces south and southwest and reaches an altitude of 87 meters. The average age of the vines is 30 years, with Merlot as the predominant grape variety. Sustainable farming practices allow the Château to harvest the grapes at peak ripeness, in perfect health, and with respect for the environment.

Vinification and aging

Aged for 18 months in barrels, 50% of which are new oak.
