Vinification and aging

The Penfolds Bin 169 is crafted with meticulous care. The grapes are destemmed and crushed before being fermented in stainless steel tanks, allowing for a gentle extraction of tannins. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart complexity and structure to the wine. This process, combined with traditional and modern winemaking techniques, ensures a perfect balance between fruit and oak, while respecting the terroir's unique character.
