    Tasting notes

We like to pair Château Pichon Baron wines with a nice grilled ribeye steak and pesto potatoes.

    Owner and history

Located in the heart of the Médoc region of Bordeaux, the Pauillac appellation is renowned for having some of the best soils for grape growing. Within the vineyard, the grape varieties planted are 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. The soil is gravelly, low in nutrients, and well-drained.

    Vinification and aging
