Owner and history

Area: 16 hectares. Vines have been cultivated at Château La Gaffelière since Gallo-Roman times, as evidenced by a villa discovered by the Count. Ausonius had a vineyard on this site in the 4th century. Soil: Clay-limestone slopes, siliceous at the base of the hills.

Vinification and aging

Aged for 12 to 14 months in 50% new oak barrels
