    L'Agneau de Pauillac : L'accord de terroir par excellence. Une épaule d'agneau rôtie aux herbes de Provence ou un carré d'agneau en croûte de sel.

    Situé au coeur du Médoc Bordelais, le terroir de l'appellation Pauillac est réputé pour abriter l'un des meilleurs sols pour la culture de la vigne. Le cépage qui domine sur le vignoble est le Cabernet-Sauvignon à 65%, viennent ensuite le Merlot à 30%, le Cabernet Franc à 3% et le Petit Verdot à 2%. La butte de Pichon Baron, grand terroir déjà reconnu et en production en 1694, constitue encore aujourd'hui la majeure partie de l'assemblage du grand vin.

    Owner and history

    Located in the heart of the Médoc region of Bordeaux, the Pauillac appellation is renowned for having some of the best soils for viticulture. The dominant grape variety in the vineyard is Cabernet Sauvignon at 65%, followed by Merlot at 30%, Cabernet Franc at 3%, and Petit Verdot at 2%. The Pichon Baron hill, a great terroir already recognized and in production in 1694, still constitutes the majority of the blend for the grand vin today.

    Le 2020 est souvent comparé au 2010 ou au 2016 pour sa structure, mais il possède une pureté de fruit plus éclatante. C'est un vin "taillé pour la garde" : bien qu'impressionnant dès sa jeunesse après un long carafage, il ne révélera son plein potentiel que d'ici une dizaine d'années.
